Atlanta police say woman stole $1 million in jewelry from date
A Georgia man went on a date with a woman, but it ended with unexpected huge price tag according to FOX 5 Atlanta. The woman spent several hours with the man she recently met, enjoyed some food and adult entertainment at another establishment. The pair wound up sharing a bed together at a hotel. In a surveillance photo, the gentleman has on large pieces of jewelry. The man told police and was able confirmed the value right at $1 million.
In the hotel room the man put his jewelry in the room’s safe. The man eventually fell asleep and when woke up the bathroom shower was on.
“He assumed his date was taking a shower,” said Sgt. Jarius Daugherty, “but he looked over to see the safe open and all of his property gone.”
The woman left the room hours before he got up. Police have released images of the suspect and are asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact the Atlanta Police Department.
