The Roots of American Popular Music (Stolen Black Culture)

This is a short video that I did for my Rhetoric, Forgetting and Memory class. My paper is about American Popular Culture and how people have forgotten how African American Culture has heavily influenced current popular culture. (this is video is only the short music aspect of my project) . I don’t hate white people (or people from any other culture), BUT this is just a reminder that much of what is popular today, originally started in the black community. What are your thoughts?
