The Giller Master Panel: Black Writers’ Experience Publishing in Canada
On February 16, 2021, we launched our monthly Giller Master Panel series. This month’s conversation honoured Black History Month.
Moderated by award-winning author, academic, public intellectual and former Scotiabank Giller Prize juror, Cecil Foster, the panel included 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize winner Ian Williams, 2021 jury chair and author Zalika Reid-Benta, literary agent Chelene Knight and renowned writer and scholar, Rinaldo Walcott.
