The 1984 Line of Delta Sigma Theta at The University of Houston Celebrated their 40th DELTAversary with this STUNNING Photoshoot

The sorors of the Zeta Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., initiated at the University of Houston in 1984, recently gathered to commemorate their 40th anniversary in Charleston, South Carolina. Sisters traveled from across the United States and the Bahamas to reconnect for a weekend filled with shared memories, laughter, and heartfelt moments that celebrated the enduring strength of their four-decade bond.

Their “Deltaversary” celebration began with a warm welcome event catered by My Three Sons of Charleston, setting the stage for a weekend of nostalgia and joy. The sorority sisters captured their milestone with a memorable photo shoot led by photographer Darrin Todd Little, ensuring that their legacy was documented with elegance and pride.

One of the most emotional highlights of the weekend was a tour of the International African American Museum. The visit resonated deeply with the sisters, sparking reflections on history, heritage, and the importance of their shared journey. And of course, the event would not have been complete without a bit of spirited fun—proving that even after 40 years, these Deltas can still stroll with pride and energy.

The reunion embodied the essence of sisterhood, showing that the bonds forged in 1984 have only grown stronger with time.
