Pay It Forward Concert – A Journey with Bernie
Bernadetta’s “Pay it Forward – Journey with Bernie” online concert hosted in support of fellow students with similar financial difficulties.
Originally this concert was one of the ways she hoped to raise funds to pay for her hostel fees for 2021, but after her Backabuddy campaign was received so sympathetically, attracting the attention of Refilwe Moloto on Cape Talk and Nasifa Sulaiman a journalist at “You” Magazine, she decided to use the monies raised through ticket sales for fellow students in similar financial difficulties. Her campaign within a very short period, she had raised sufficient funds to cover her fees, and her generous spirit latched onto the notion of making the concert a Pay It Forward fundraiser.
