EX-NFL player Jack Brewer slams Colin Kaepernick for comparing the draft to slavery and says his Netflix special should be ‘illegal’
Former NFL player Jack Brewer slammed Colin Kaepernick for comparing a football draft to slavery, saying “he has an evil, anti-American spirit” and that his recently released Netflix show should be “illegal.”
The show “Colin in Black & White”, Kaepernick compared the NFL’s player selection process to slavery, with one scene showing players being paraded in front of coaches and scouts before they’re seen in shackles on during a slave auction.
Brewer who played for the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Arizona Cardinals said Kaepernick’s comments were harmful to minorities.
“This new Colin Kaepernick doctrine that’s penetrating the minds and hearts of so many of our underserved black kids is the single largest threat to black men in the United States of America,’ Brewer told Fox News.
“Because right now, folks are thinking that they’re victims are living in the most prosperous the most opportunity [sic] in any country in the world.”
