In a recent article for Five Thirty Eight explains that college football doesn’t give Black coaches many chances.

For example, Black coaches still make up a small share of Division 1 college football and there has been little to no growth in this area since 1975. Alternatively the so-called Power Five coaches are still overwhelmingly white.
