books to diversify your reading (Black authors, racism in America, Black main characters, etc.)
hey guys. in today’s video, I am sharing some books that I currently own that focus on a Black main character. some focus on racism in America, while others are more light-hearted. regardless, I hope everyone begins to diversify what they are reading. learning more about what it’s like for people of other races, religions, sexuality, etc. is a great way to understand what it’s like for them. reading has always been a way for me to empathize with others. I did not summarize these books in a great way, but I highly recommend checking them out.
