Black Authors of Children's Books: 2018 Book Fair REWIND

On Saturday May 5th 2018 we attended the 6th Annual African American Children’s Book Fair in Baltimore MD at the Reginald F Lewis Museum. This was a great place to find Black Children’s and Black kids books. We meet many great authors the environment was family friendly and there were lots of Black men and Black women attending with their children and families. It was a beautiful even. As we encourage those who live on the east coast to attend this event when it happens.
one of the Highlights was listening to Ilyasah Shabazz who is one of El Hajj Malik el-Shabazz’s daughter a.k.a. Malcolm X, she was promoting a new children’s book based on her mother’s life called ‘Betty before X’.
