BLACK WRITERS OUT LOUD | A Conversation About Black Literary Arts in Quebec
The Quebec Writers’ Federation presents Black Writers Out Loud– the first in a series of digital events celebrating Black literary arts in Quebec.
Hosted by Deborah Forde, in conversation with artists Diane Roberts, Tali Taliwah (aka Nantali Indongo), and H. Nigel Thomas.
* Diane Roberts is an accomplished director, dramaturge, writer, and cultural animator, known for her Arrivals Legacy Project.
* Tali Taliwah (aka Nantali Indongo) is an emcee and vocalist in the Montreal Hip Hop supergroup Nomadic Massive, as well as an arts educator and CBC journalist.
* H. Nigel Thomas has published eleven books and dozens of essays. His sixth novel, Easily Fooled, will be published in 2021.
* Deborah Forde is an art administrator, director, community engaged theatre artist, and dramaturge.
