Jonathan ‘Hovain’ Hylton, Cherished And Influential Music Industry Leader, Has Passed Away
His multifaceted success as a manager, A&R, label owner, and above all else, as a father and husband earned him high esteem, as did his innate intelligence.
Hovain’s resume includes work with everyone from platinum-selling artists like YFN Lucci, Flipp Dinero, and T-Pain, to New York’s heavyweights like Cam’Ron, Jim Jones, and Styles P.
His passion for music and hip-hop was never one-sided. From gritty hip-hop to some of the more modern vibes of the current era, he never hated, just appreciated.
His prominence in the hip-hop and R&B industries was recognized by Billboard, which included him on its Power player list.
