Video captures white man going on drunk, racist, homophobic rant while getting kicked off flight
A a white man has been fired from his job after a video of his racist and homophobic drunk rant has gone viral. The video took place while he was getting kicked off an American Airlines flight. The man who has since been identified as Zachary Easterly said during his rant that he was drunk and worked for global biopharma company GlaxoSmithKline.
Easterly, now a former GSK employee started going off on flight attendants on a flight leaving from Philadelphia heading to Dallas last week according to TMZ. The person who recorded the video initially posted it on Reddit explained that they “didn’t manage to start recording early enough to catch his copious usage of the N-word towards the flight attendants, but it was over and over, and very loud!”
According to the post on Reddit, Easterly was initially kicked off the plane for being “inappropriate towards the woman in the seat next to him.”
While flight attendant asked him to get his stuff, he admitted he was racist due to him owing a black bag.
“Obvious I’m a white male that take the black bag ‘cause I’m racist,” he’s heard saying.
“You’re kicking me off the f—ing plane ‘cause I’m racist. I didn’t do anything. Yeah I’m a little intoxicated but I…” he trails off. “It’s a better bag than most of y’all can afford.”
A flight attendant finally gets the man’s bag, which causes him to start going off on the passengers themselves as he gets nowhere asking why he’s getting kicked off.
While getting off the plane he says, “I’ll get off the f—ing plane, with you liberal f—–s. I hope all you liberal f—–s f—ing crash the f—ing plane, you f—–s.”
He proceeds to announce to the whole flight how he works for GlaxoSmithKline and bragged about being a chemical engineer for one of the top companies in the world.
In a statement by GSK, Easterly has been terminated since they were made aware of the video. “We immediately conducted an investigation and as of Thursday, he is no longer employed at GSK. The person’s remarks were reprehensible and do not reflect our company culture.”
