Derek Hough Sets the Record Straight on Tyra Banks’ 'DWTS' Elimination Blunder
The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” is well underway, and new host and executive producer Tyra Banks is already coming under fire after recently announcing the wrong names of the two couples up for elimination.
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with former pro-turned-judge Derek Hough today, who set the record straight. He explained, “The producers came up afterwards and were actually thanking Tyra, they were like, ‘Thank you so much, you handled that well. There was a technical situation happening in the booth…’ From what I have heard from people, they were happy and relieved… It could have been a lot worse.”
