Lisa DeCoste is committed to honoring the memory of her late husband, Scott. Scott was diagnosed with terminal cancer in the summer of 2015 and passed away 8 weeks later. Lisa started a scholarship in Scott’s name shortly after his death, but she also wanted to do something to honor him each year on his birthday. So she started a tradition that she calls Scott’s Paying It Forward. While dealing with her grief has been challenging, Lisa takes pride in preserving Scott’s legacy.
