Soul Food Recipes | Best Fried Cabbage with Bacon – Southern Recipe – I Heart Recipes
Hey y’all! Today I’m sharing one of my many cabbage recipes. This one is for Southern Fried Cabbage! https://iheartrecipes.com/southern-fried-cabbage-recipe/
I love cabbage, and this recipe hits the spot every time. It’s simple, quick and tasty! Follow this step-by-step video and give it a try.
I like to use bacon ends for this recipe since they’re a little fattier than regular bacon. Chop up the ends and start frying. Once it renders a lot of fat, pull the bacon out and set it to the side. Add sliced onions and red peppers to the pan. Once they’re translucent, add in the cabbage and seasonings. When the cabbage is nice and tender but still has a little crunch, add the bacon back to the pan, give it a nice stir, and you’re done! Easy and delicious!
