Amazing story about “Thong Song” and how it was originally made for Michael Jackson.

You never know where your journey is going to take you.

This shows how worthless record labels truly are.

This is 1999.

Napster was out, but the labels still had a hammerlock on how music was distributed and marketed.

Clearing samples and interpolations was a huge part of their business and its where they saved the most money.

Yet, they let @sisqo get screwed out of his publishing because they didn’t do their due diligence.
