Zeta Phi Beta’s Imani Corbett is the President of Seton Hall University’s First-Ever NAACP Chapter
Imani Corbett, a proud member of the Psi Pi chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, has made a historic impact at Seton Hall University. Her perseverance and leadership led to the successful chartering of the university’s NAACP chapter, an effort that took several years of navigating university policies and rallying support from fellow students, especially members of the Divine Nine.
As president of the newly established NAACP chapter, Corbett has been instrumental in promoting activism and addressing important issues such as voter registration, police accountability, and support for underserved communities. Her continued dedication to service and social action mirrors her deep commitment to justice and equity, both on campus and beyond.
In recognition of her achievements, Corbett was recently honored with the Trailblazer Freedom Award by the Oranges Maplewood NAACP, celebrating her leadership and the positive, lasting impact she has made at Seton Hall.
Her work has laid the foundation for a vibrant NAACP chapter that will continue to inspire and empower future generations of students.
