Yo Gotti Tapped Yung Dee, 17, To Exec Produce His Latest Mixtape After Discovering Him On Instagram
His parents had to be involved in the process because of his age. Yung Dee said they have been supportive on this journey into the music industry, his father attending several studio sessions with him.
“They was happy. … They let me do me,” he said earlier this month, according to Complex.
Yung Dee helped produce four tracks off the mixtape, including “1st Hunnid Bands,” “Mind My Business,” “Driveway Furniture” and “The One.”
He publicly thanked Yo Gotti and Moneybagg Yo for the opportunity.
“Shoutout to everybody around this project thank you Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo for believing in me,” he wrote on Instagram.
