When it’s blazing hot outside, is there anything more tempting than slipping into your favorite maxi-dress on a summer day? Didn’t think so.
I’ve had my maxi-dresses on HEAVY rotation this summer, because they’re literally the lowest effort pieces that still help me feel and look dressed up even on my laziest days! I was talking to my friend the other day about this gorgeous A.L.C. maxi dress that I’m wearing in the photos, and she told me I was so lucky I could wear it because I’m tall. Ummm….🚨PAUSE🚨 First of all, maxi-dresses are for every height and every body type! When it comes to fashion, you can make anything work as long as you feel good, and you know what details, cuts and silhouettes work best for your body. If you’re still unconvinced that longer dresses are right for you, and not sure how to style your maxi dress — here are four of my styling tips that I swear by when shopping for, or wearing, maxi-dresses.
1. look for unique details
2. add a belt to accentuate your figure
