The user then shows the customer their container sizes which include a large bucket, a regular bucket or a medium and a junior bag which is a small.
“Can I get a medium popcorn? No actually, that’s too much, could I just get the small popcorn please?” the fake customer asks.
After being handed the small sized bag and charged $7.35 the customer then changes their mind and opts for the regular bucket.
The employee then pours the exact same junior bag into the medium container and charges the customer $8.44 for the size-up.
“But, this is the same size as the junior,” the customer says. “Can I just get the junior, y’all are tryna scam me.”
People chimed in under the post, writing comments like, “feel like this should be illegal. If I’m paying for a bigger size, I should be getting a bigger size.”
“That’s why I don’t get nothing from the concession stand…I pack my bag with snacks and drinks and I go sit in the back,” another TikTok user commented.
