The Shop is back with Season 6, and it did not disappoint!

The new season screened early during a watch party at UNINTERRUPTED’s New York City headquarters. What viewers witnessed during the evening was the most refined version of the show.

The Shop’s hosts, Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera, have listened to the masses and delivered a longer first episode that allowed for a more extensive discussion, feeling like the topics could breathe.

The Shop cultivates discussions at the intersection of sports, entertainment and culture. In Episode 1, actor Desi Banks, multi-platinum 5-time American Music Award winner Kane Brown, All-Pro NFL wide receiver and 3-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs and undefeated boxer Ryan Garcia all join the discussion. What ensued was some of The Shop‘s most candid and fun banter ever.

As the audience watched, we genuinely went on a ride, learning more about each guest. What was interesting and ironic was how much they had in common, even from such different backgrounds.

“That’s really what The Shop is about– bringing people together,” Carter said at the event. “Each guest could relate to overcoming the challenges brought on by their environment, or from people who just didn’t believe in their ascension. But in each guest’s case, they overcame. And they continue to confront their opposition head-on.”

In this season of The Shop, there are a couple of changes. UNINTERRUPTED has launched @TheshopUN, the new social handle for all things The Shop. Also, this season marks the beginning of a new podcast. The Shop UNINTERRUPTED will be a podcast released in conjunction with every episode. So if you can’t catch the episodes on YouTube, the audio version can still hold you down.
