Should every history lesson be taught through the lens of racial and other identities?
Can using race as a way to frame our education go too far, as expressed by opponents of “critical race theory” and “anti-racism” approaches?
Can we teach our history in a way that captures the unique experiences and perspectives of Black Americans but doesn’t breed defensiveness and divisions among Americans?
