Sherri Shepherd Is Overjoyed Sending Son Off To His High School Prom: ‘I Think I Did Alright!’

Shepherd had her son with her ex-husband Jeffrey Tarpley. She now lives with her 18-year-old in Harlem in New York City.
Shepherd premiered her own daytime talk-show, Sherri, last September. It was renewed for two more seasons in January.
“I love coming out, sitting in that chair, because I got to do it when I was on The View,” she told The New York Times. “And I love my family on The View, but you have to share audio space with four other women at the table. So this one I get to come out and be as silly as I want to.
