‘She Never Involved Me, So We Even’: Rapper Hurricane Chris Responds To Artist Who Sampled His Hit Song ‘Ay Bay Bay’
Hurricane Chris recently responded to New Jersey club artist Kia Bhn after she spoke about her frustrations with the rapper for not including her in his new “My Bay” music video. On Instagram, Kia said Chris and her talked about her being in the music video. Kia says she asked him to fly her and her team out to be apart of the video.
Kia explained the rapper said he would get back to her after talking to his team. However, time passed and Chris shared behind-the-scenes video footage of the video shoot. Kia said she had no idea the video was being shot.
Hurricane Chris responded to Kia, and is over the drama.
In an interview with The ShadeRoom, he compared this situation between Kia and himself to a childhood bike jacking.
“They stole my bike, spray painted it and called it theirs. My mom told me to go get my bike back. Plain and simple. Now they are talking about how they washed it and fixed it up. Tell ’em thanks. And by the way, they never shouted me out when they went viral with my music. I am the creator of ‘A Bay Bay,” Hurricane Chris said.
“Big Hurricane. I tried to let Lil momma (Kai) be a part of it, but she started acting weird and giving everybody credit except me, so she got left out. She never involved me, so we even. Stream ‘My Bay’ on Music360, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Shout out to Shaderoom for getting facts,” he said.
