Sha’Carri Richardson Continues To Secure The Bag, Stars In New Beats By Dre Commercial
Sha’Carri Richardson, America’s fastest woman has proven that anyone can overcome adversity after partnering with Kanye West for a Beats by Dre commercial.
The ad, which dropped on Tuesday — just days before the Olympic games are slated to begin — features a 21-year-old Richardson. In it, West’s single “No Child Left Behind” from his new album Donda, plays.
The one-minute commercial starts off showing Richardson at the starting blocks on a track while outfitted in Nike gear.
The camera cuts to a scene of her doing warm up exercises while getting close-ups of her signature nails, a red wig and her listening to music from her Beats Studio Buds. The scene then cuts to Richardson rubbing her hands together and looking up to the sky, while West is heard singing in the background, “He’s done miracles on me.”
The commercial then cuts back to Richardson at the starting blocks. However, this time she is seen sprinting in slow motion, as if she is competing in an event. The commercial concludes after the tagline “Live Your Truth” flashes across the screen.
