Thanks to the response from Iyanla: The Inside Fix, OWN has announced that it has greenlit two new television specials featuring beloved spiritual life coach, Iyanla Vanzant.

Production on the specials will begin this March. A live studio audience will see Vanzant as she sits down with people who are in crisis. Each special will dive deep into the heart of community and family dynamics, continuing Vanzant’s mission to help people “fix” their lives from the inside out.  

“The response to The Inside Fix has been nothing short of a blessing,” Vanzant says in an official statement. “The series is a ministry of healing. Each story, each tear, each moment of truth is a sacred encounter with the human soul. When one soul speaks its truth, the frequency of truth expands through the collective.  When one heart is cleansed, the vibration of wholeness ripples outward. Those who watch are not bystanders; they are participants in the collective healing process for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world. It is not about fixing your life. It is about freeing your soul. No more surface solutions. This is where truth becomes transformation.”

In her interview with Blavity’s Shadow and Act, speaking about Iyanla: The Inside Fix, Vanzant spoke of how she chose the episodes to revisit and why it was necessary to return in this way. “We took the 12 highest-rated shows because we figured most people were more familiar with them…We look at the show. We explain what’s going on beneath the surface…Every show has a worksheet. People can go and download it. And they get the lesson, they get the fix. They get reflection questions so that people can see this isn’t about entertainment only. And those shows were done almost 12 years ago,” she explained.
