Ohio high school football team Bishop Sycamore, accused of being a fake school along other allegations
The news outlet reached out to Duncanville ISD Tuesday morning and the district is looking into it. However, as of now, no changes to the schedule has been made. Bishop Sycamore got blown out 58-0 Sunday night by IMG Academy from Florida. On social media, people and fans in Ohio didn’t know who the team was. ABC affiliate ABC6 in Ohio attempted to look for answers and didn’t find an address for the school.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association said the school isn’t a member. The state of Ohio says Bishop Sycamore is listed as a “non-chartered, non-tax-supported school.”
The Bishop Sycamore coach on Twitter says the team isn’t affiliated with a local school but plans to offer online schooling, ABC6 reported.
