NFL Considered Giving Teams Better Draft Picks For Hiring Minority Coaches…What!?
The NFL recently considered expanding the “Rooney Rule” – which requires teams to interview minority candidates – to include awarding higher draft picks if a minority candidate is hired as a coach or general manager. They tabled the discussion, but it can be brought up again, and The Daily Wire’s Andrew Klavan, host of “The Andrew Klavan Show”, explains why this is such a bad idea.
