James Earl Massey on African American History in Context of the Church of God Movement
In an open lecture delivered at Anderson College (now Anderson University, Anderson, IN) on April 26, 1977, Rev. James Earl Massey explores the history of race relations in the United States, particularly in context of the Church of God Movement. Massey opens by discussing the emerging language shift from “Negro” to “Black” in the context of his research. Originally recorded on James Earl Massey is the author of African Americans and the Church of God, and Dean Emeritus of the Anderson School of Theology. Also present in the video are John W. V.
