Ja Morant Depicted On Instagram Live With A Gun, Again; Grizzlies Suspend Him From Team Activities
When Morant got himself in trouble in March, the league conducted an investigation and determined that the gun belong to somebody else, Yahoo Sports reported. The NBA suspended him for eight games at that time, saying his action were “detrimental to the league.” Police did not charge Morant for the incident.
The 23-year-old star was ordered to attend therapy in Florida.
“I don’t have an alcohol problem. I’ve never had an alcohol problem,” Morant told reporters when he returned from suspension. “I went there for counseling. To learn how to manage stress — cope with stress in a positive way. Instead of, you know, ways I’ve tried to deal with it before that caused me to make mistakes.”
