Islamabad Court Acquits Maryam Nawaz in Corruption Case | Black News

The edifice of lies, slander and character assassination has come crumbling down today, says PM. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also said in a Twitter post that the court’s decision was a “slap in the face of so-called accountability” system.
However, leaders of the opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party criticised the decision. Former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, in a Twitter post, termed Thursday’s ruling a “dark day”. “Pakistani institutions have lost the trust of the nation. Maryam Nawaz’s role in the crime is obvious without any doubts,” he wrote.
