Stan Lathan is an African American television and film director. He has produced sitcoms, comedy specials, and movies. Lathan was born in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania, and attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Stan has had an impressive run in entertainment and is well respected in the industry.
Lathan was the director for many pilot shows like Moesha, Martin, The Steve Harvey Show, All of Us, and Real Husbands of Hollywood among others. He began directing in 1973 when he moved to Los Angeles to direct a few episodes of Sandford and Son.
