Sweatpants and loungewear may have a hold on us for the next couple of weeks, while we wait for spring (and our vaccines) — but that doesn’t mean we can’t dress them up in the meantime!

If I’m wearing sweats, I’m not trying to be extra by adding heels, too much makeup or statement jewelry. Keeping it simple with classic accent pieces, is the way to make your loungewear look effortlessly styled and elevated. My favorite white sneakers and gold hoops will always do the trick!

Layering in the winter is obviously all about staying warm, but the right coat can dress up even the laziest athleisure look! I love a long wool coat whenever I’m heading out in sweats — it gives the outfit a much more expensive look, that actually tricks people into thinking you spent way more time putting your #OOTD together. Chic!

And of course, last but not least, when in doubt — pick up your favorite bag that complements your sweatpants, for a very “model off-duty” aesthetic. We may have limited options for our fancy outfits these days, but your bags can always get some attention with a loungewear look!
