How Republicans Just Killed PBS & NPR: Trump’s Funding Cut Explained
In the middle of the night Senate Republicans narrowly passed President Trump’s rescissions package. This claws back about $9 billion in funding already approved by congress. This bill would completely defund public broadcasting (like NPR & PBS) and would cut about $8 billion dollars from several foreign aid and peacekeeping programs.
