Georgia teen arrested for murder charges after police say he shot 9-year-old to death
Atlanta police said a 16-year-old boy, who has yet to be identified because of his age, was the shooter and that they were considering charges.
On Sunday, police said investigators were able to establish probable cause to arrest the teen on murder in the second-degree, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, cruelty to children in the second-degree and possession of a handgun by a person under 18.
The 16-year-old has since turned himself in to authorities and was taken to a youth detention center. Police have not released if the shooter and the victim were related.
