Florida woman punched her girlfriend for ‘talking in her sleep about an ex’
A Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly punching her girlfriend after reportedly hearing her “talking in her sleep about an ex.”
Alexis Talley faces an enhanced felony charge, because she has previously been arrested for battery that resulted in a no contest plea, according to an arrest report obtained by The Smoking Gun. The 23-year-old was arrested last Sunday shortly after 10:30 p.m. after officers responded to a neighbor’s report of a “fight in progress” at the residence she shares with her girlfriend in Dunedin, which is about 25 miles west of Tampa, according to the report.
Talley confirmed to officers the two had argued verbally after she heard her girlfriend “talking in her sleep about an ex,” but claimed it didn’t get physical. Talley claimed the injuries were the result of “a previous disorder” and not punching her girlfriend, the affidavit says.
Online records show Talley bonded out and was released early Tuesday from the Pinellas County Jail according to The New York Daily News
