Florida Woman Charged with Felony After Throwing Burger And Yelling Racial Slurs at Burger King Employee
A Florida woman has been arrested and charged late last month after she allegedly went on a racial tirade at a fast-food restaurant over the thickness of her tomato according to Villages News. Judith Ann Black has been charged with a felony after she threw a Whopper at a Black Burger King employee on Friday, April 30
The news outlet obtained police documents that stated Black was outraged over the thickness of the slice of tomato on the sandwich. Once the employee was unidentified in the report attempted to calm the 77-year-old down, then threw the burger at the employee.
The woman followed by spewing a of expletives, including the N-word, and she called the employee a “stupid Black b-tch” before leaving the restaurant. The store manager and another employee were well as a present when the incident occurred.
Black was tracked down with the help of surveillance video. Footage captured her white Dodge Ram pickup truck, and eyewitness were able to provide authorities with her license plate number.
Once authorities arrived, Black confessed she was “angry” that the employee was not “fixing the issue,” the report read. Black also said that she “had the burger in my hand and tossed it at her,” confirming that the sandwich did, in fact, make contact with the employee’s back. Black was arrested and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was later released on a $2,500 bond the following Saturday.
The police report also stated “Due to Mrs. Black calling the victim a ‘stupid black b-tch,’ and a ‘black n-gger,’ as well as stating ‘f-ck you black n-ggers’ to her, this enhances the charge of Battery from a misdemeanor of the first degree to a felony of the third degree under Florida State Statute 775.085. (1)(a)2, ‘Everything prejudice while committing offense; reclassification.’”
