Father Of Kids Seen With Racist Woman Who Called Black Worker A ‘B***h Ass N****r’ Fears For Their Wellbeing

Update (March 26, 2021): Durven Dawes, the father of the children who were seen with their racist mother at a New York bakery this week, says he’s concerned about his children’s wellbeing.

Dawes expressed his fear in an interview with TMZ on Thursday, saying his four children could be suffering from emotional trauma after their mother used the n-word toward a Black employee because she was told to wear a mask.

“I’m concerned about my children’s safety 100%,” he said.

The father described Stephanie Denaro’s verbal assault as “race-spitting poison.” He added that he doesn’t condone the behavior of the white woman, who said she has the right to use the slur because all of her children have a Black father.

“I have a problem with anybody using that type of language, even my own children,” Dawes said.

The concerned father, who lost a custody battle with Denaro, said the bizarre behavior is nothing new for the woman. According to Dawes, Denaro has a habit of posting racist videos and photos. One of the disturbing posts shared with TMZ featured an image of their children with a caption that celebrated the transatlantic slave trade.

“Happy Columbus Day from people who wouldn’t exist if not for the Trans Atlantic slave trade,” the post read.

The father relayed a message for the mother of his children.

“Sit back, think about it, don’t get indoctrinated, don’t get poison in your system,” he said.

Dawes also apologized to Victor Kamara, the Davidovich Bakery employee who was harassed by the woman.

“I’m sending my apology to that young man,” he said. “I hope you can forgive her in your heart.”

Now dubbed as Bagel Karen, the woman who agitated other customers in line while harassing the employee, is now banned from the bakery. A complaint has also been filed with police.

According to Complex, Kamara has been receiving support from various people since the incident. While one person handed a $100 bill in an envelope to the employee, another giver presented a $100 MetroCard. There was also another person who brought sage to get rid of Denaro’s bad energy in the bakery. In addition, Kamara received a scholarship offer from Mercy College, which he plans to accept and pursue a degree in business management.

Original (March 24, 2021): A white woman was heard using the n-word at a Manhattan bakery after being asked to wear a mask. She said she has the right to use the slur because all of her children have a Black father, New York Daily News reported.

The woman, who identified herself as Stephanie Denaro of Queens, was caught on video when she berated the Black bakery worker who asked her to leave for not wearing a mask.

Standing at the counter of Davidovich Bakery with a baby in a stroller and three children next to her, the petulant customer engaged in a lengthy argument with the employee and agitated other people who were waiting to be served.

“Ma’am, he’s not going to serve you, so please leave,” one person told the woman as she refused to wear a mask.

The anti-masker then shamelessly responded with a racial slur.

“Why, cause he’s a b***h ass n****r?” she said.

As the crowd gasped collectively, Denaro doubled down.

“That’s what he is. That’s what he is,” she said. “I said it. You just heard it.”

The 30-year-old employee didn’t give his full name, but he said the incident happened on Sunday afternoon.

”She was two customers behind the lady I was already serving. She had five kids and she was wearing no mask,” the clerk told the Daily News.

He adds that he was respectful when he told Denaro to wear a mask.

“Ma’am, you may have forgotten to wear your mask. You must wear a mask,” the man said he told the ill-tempered customer. “She replied ‘Why should I?’ I replied, ‘With those answers, I will not be able to serve you. Then she said, ‘You are a b***h-ass n-word.’ She said it a lot.”

An NYPD spokeswoman said the department didn’t receive reports or 911 calls about the incident. However, officials with New York City Economic Development Corporation, which oversees the Lower East Side market, said security called 911 and the woman left the market as they made the call.

The shameless woman tried to defend herself during an interview.

“I said, ‘You’re a bitch-ass n****r,’ a term they use,” she said. “All of my children have a Black father. That’s a term I’ve heard them use all my life.”

The woman also happens to be a supporter of former president Donald Trump and his inflammatory ideologies.

“They’re forcing people in New York City to wear masks. It’s political theater,” she said. “I don’t believe in COVID-19. It’s a hoax to convince people to use absentee ballots to steal the election from Donald Trump.”

Denaro is one of the dozens of anti-maskers to have displayed child-like behaviors in public since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. In October, one customer was caught on video as she threw a tantrum at a Starbucks in California, saying “Trump 2020!” and “f**k Black Lives Matter.”

“It’s a hoax. I don’t have to wear a mask. I’m not going to wear a mask. This is America, and I don’t have to do what you say,” the woman said, according to Complex.

There was also a father last year who screamed at people in a grocery store because he didn’t want to wear a mask. The man was seen in a video as he was carried out of the store by his sons, Yahoo reported.

“You’re a bunch of idiots. You know it’s not real,” the anti-masker said to the customers.
