Diddy And J. Cole Squash Rumors Of Feud With Playful Reenactment Video Of 2013 Altercation
In the song, where Cole raps “Couple wins, couple losses, some broken up too quick to call it / My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it,” Diddy can be heard in the outro singing a prayer, Hip-Hop Wired reported.
It’s evident by their collaboration the two rap bosses found a path forward.
In 2020, Cole found himself at the front of a separate feud with female rapper and poet Noname. Just last month, she finally addressed the drama on Twitter, explaining that she thought certain rappers, seemingly Cole, had profited from the Black struggle.
Cole was announced Wednesday as one of the headliners to New York’s Rolling Out Loud music festival in October. Rappers 50 Cent and Travis Scott will also join as headliners.
According to GQ, Diddy is currently working on an R&B album which he’s using to detach from conflict in his life.
