Did you know the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was stabbed?
The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. lived with the threat of death every day.
He regularly received threats and was injured more than once.
On Sept. 20, 1958, King was signing copies of his book, “Stride Toward Freedom,” at Blumstein’s Department Store in Harlem, New York City. A woman came up to him and stabbed him in the chest with a letter opener. (Video by Deb Kiner/PennLive.com)
