‘DaBookings’ Trend On Twitter After Folks Accuse DaBaby Of Issuing Performative Apology
Lollapalooza, Governors Ball and Day N Vegas festivals have canceled the rapper’s upcoming performances and have reaffirmed their stance in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, BuzzFeed reported.
In a tweet, the Governors Ball said it “will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind. We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York City the greatest city in the world.”

In July, during his performance at the Rolling Loud festival, DaBaby not only offended members of the LGBTQ+ community, but he also made insensitive remarks about people with HIV/AIDS, as Blavity previously reported.
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up… Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up,” DaBaby said.
