CPS Takes Young Children Away From Black Couple
Child Protective Services is in the spotlight because of American Idol finalist, Syesha Mercado and her husband, Tyron Deneer. They spoke to Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” about the removal of their two young children.
In February, their first child was taken from them when they went to Johns Hopkins Hospital after the baby had trouble transitioning from breast milk to solids.
Just a week ago, their 10-day-old girl was taken from them when police surrounded their car and forced them to stop, pull over and give up their baby to caseworkers from CPS.
