How would you describe your personal style?

I would describe my personal style as a mixture between business, casual, sexy and chic. I like to make an appearance when I walk into the room and stand out from the crowd, but in a very classic, minimalistic and chic way. 

For instance, if I’m out to brunch with my girls, I would probably wear a blazer paired with a lace bralet and flared pants – or tight fitting leather lace gloves with oversized shades. No matter what, I have my own unique style and love dressing differently than anyone else in the restaurant.

You felt most drawn to the Filene Pointe Toe Pumps in Medium Brown. How would you style this pair of shoes?

Honestly, I love neutrals and nudes. The majority of my wardrobe is very muted with monochromatic tones. I would style my selection in a chic, yet bossy style by wearing a slim-fitted brown blazer dress or a brown leather skirt, blazer and crop top.

What has been your experience looking for a nude shoe?

Nude has usually been a specific color in the color wheel, and rarely ever personal to me. Nude always meant a light tan shoe– not a nude that matched my skin color.

I’d love to wear these to brunches and dinners, casually out with friends, or dressed up on date nights. These shoes are also perfect for a business or formal work event.

You were most excited to wear the Yess Ankle Strap Sandal in Light Brown Leather. What do you look for when you’re shopping for a new pair of shoes?

When shopping for a new shoe, I really base it on season, color and style. For example, I found a cute bag I plan to buy this fall/winter. I already found a pair of boots that are the same color, different material, and now planning looks around that.
