(BPRW) Sports, Business, & Culture Summit Tackles Fatherlessness Crisis with Star-Backed Screenings in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York

Atlanta Stop to Feature 4x Grammy Award–Winner Lecrae & Billboard Chart-Topping Christian Rapper Tedashii in Powerful Conversation on Faith and Fatherhood

(Black PR Wire) New York, NY — Following a powerful launch in Los Angeles ahead of All-Star Weekend in February, Element 2026 —the leading summit and podcast at the intersection of sports, business, and culture—continues its national tour with exclusive screenings of the NAACP Image Award–nominated documentary Fatherless No More in Atlanta and New York.

The New York event will take place on Wednesday, April 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at an exclusive location and will include a special award presentation.

In recognition of Second Chance Awareness Month, retired NFL Super Bowl champion, author, and pastor Tim Johnson will be honored with the inaugural Good Neighbor Award, presented by Element & The FutureCast Foundation. Following a successful NFL career, Johnson was called to ministry and has since impacted countless lives through faith, leadership, and his Fatherless No More Initiative—most notably through his transformative mentorship of incarcerated young adults at Rikers Island, as captured in the documentary.

Element 2026 launched its tour in Los Angeles with a private screening and conversation that convened leaders across sports, business, entertainment, and culture to address the fatherlessness crisis. Recent data indicates that approximately 85% of juveniles in state-operated institutions come from fatherless homes, and research shows that boys without fathers are 300% more likely to be incarcerated.

The tour continues in New York on April 22, followed by a final stop at The Gathering Spot in Atlanta on April 29—further advancing its mission to drive meaningful dialogue and community impact nationwide.

Each event will feature conversations with leaders creating real community impact, along with appearances by special guests from the film, including Pastor Tim Johnson and his daughter, former ESPN producer and Fatherless No More director Kayla Johnson. Additional speakers include 4x Grammy Award–winning artist LECRAE; artist, actor, and speaker Tedashii; Dr. Lena Green, DSW, LCSW, CLC, executive director of The HOPE (Healing On Purpose and Evolving) Center; and Deputy Commissioner Mike Bobbitt of the New York City Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD).

Presented by Julian S. Newman—author and founder of The FutureCast Foundation—Element is a premier summit and podcast convening athletes, entertainers, executives, and changemakers who are operating in their “element” to address real-world challenges through storytelling and community engagement.

Element 2026 is a national summit series curated to bring together thought leaders and communities for powerful conversations and experiences that inspire change. All events are open to the public at no cost. For more information and to RSVP, visit ElementSummit.com.

About Second Chance Month

April is nationally recognized as Second Chance Month, an initiative led by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and spearheaded by Prison Fellowship since 2017. It raises awareness of the barriers faced by the estimated 70–100 million Americans with criminal records and advocates for successful reentry through improved access to housing, education, and employment.

About the Documentary Fatherless No More

Fatherless No More has received nominations from the NAACP Image Awards, as well as Telly and Webby Awards. The documentary chronicles the work of Pastor Tim Johnson over a three-and-a-half-year journey launched during the pandemic to help break cycles of generational fatherlessness. Since the initiative began at Rikers Island, incidents of violence within the facility have reportedly decreased by nearly 60%, underscoring the power of consistent mentorship and faith-driven leadership.

“This is more than a film—it’s a call to action,” said Julian S. Newman. “Element was created to bring people together for conversations that matter, and Fatherless No More is exactly the kind of story that inspires reflection, responsibility, and real change.”

Featuring firsthand accounts from young men ages 18–22, the film captures moments of personal transformation, spiritual awakening, and identity restoration—offering both an intimate look at the crisis and a hopeful path forward. Directed by former ESPN producer Kayla Johnson and executive produced by Grammy Award–winning gospel artist CeCe Winans, NBA player Cole Anthony, Crystal McCrary McGuire, and Ashly Robinson, the film explores themes of fatherlessness, faith, mentorship, and redemption.
