(BPRW) Rapper Chris King’s Memory Lives On in HoodTrophy Bino’s “Runnin’ Up A Bag”

(Black PR Wire) Los Angeles – The highly anticipated track and visual “Runnin’ Up A Bag,” uniting Hoodtrophy Bino and the legendary late Chris King, is now available for fans and listeners. This special collaboration marks one of King’s final musical contributions, serving as a heartfelt tribute to his legacy and artistry.

As an artist who touched countless lives through his music and presence in the industry, this track stands as a testament to King’s talent and the indelible mark he left on those who knew him and worked with him. “Runnin’ Up A Bag” showcases the natural synergy between Hoodtrophy Bino and Chris King at the top of their game, delivering a raw and unapologetic track that captures their shared energy, ambition, and relentless grind. With hard-hitting beats and razor-sharp lyricism “…I’m starting on the court and I’m not even in my prime / And I’m already top five,” the song embodies the hustle and determination that defined both artists’ journeys.

Speaking on the release, Hoodtrophy Bino says, “It’s a real honor to finally drop ‘Runnin’ Up A Bag’ with my brother Chris King. This track is special, knowing it’s one of his last recordings. Chris, you are a true legend. Rest in Peace brotha. Love u 4 eva Snotty Nose.”

In tribute to Chris King, 100% of proceeds from the single and music video will go directly to the Chris King Fund, ensuring his legacy continues to make a difference.

In loving memory of Chris King, a beloved artist and friend to many.

Hoodtrophy Bino x Chris King –  “Runnin’ Up A Bag”

HoodTrophy Bino, born Tadashi Sayres, is a Los Angeles-based rapper whose music tells the story of overcoming hardships and leveling up in life. Raised by a single mother in a large family in Palmdale, California, and later in the tough projects of South Central LA, Bino was heavily influenced by gang life but found a vital outlet in music. His path led him to meet Soulja Boy during a stint in jail, which resulted in Bino signing with Soulja Boy’s S.O.D.M.G. label. Despite numerous challenges, Bino has turned his life around and now advocates for youth facing similar struggles, raising awareness about PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

HoodTrophy Bino’s remarkable journey from adversity to success is powerfully captured in the acclaimed documentary The HoodTrophy Bino Story: Breaking The Generational Curse. Directed by “Gebar” Sam Gebremiche, the film has garnered widespread recognition, earning an impressive 107 Best Awards, including 21 First Place awards, 11 Finalist placements, 6 Semi-Finalist honors, 8 Nominations, 3 Honorable Mentions, and 58 other selections to date.

Recently, Bino performed with Soulja Boy at Rolling Loud Los Angeles before wrapping up an impactful tour alongside Stunna Girl. He is currently on the road with YTB FATT and is gearing up for an eagerly awaited national tour with Soulja Boy, kicking off on April 11, to celebrate the release of their upcoming mixtape together. Fans can also look forward to Bino joining Rio Da Yung OG on tour this summer.

Known for his “mud-to-stars” philosophy, HoodTrophy Bino’s music is unapologetically raw and unfiltered, embodying the struggles and triumphs that have shaped his life. His latest full-length project, Chosen Few, showcases this ethos, with the hit single “I Want Her” featuring Kalan.FrFr currently receiving national airplay on major platforms, including Power 106 Los Angeles, Power 105.1 NY, Power 99 FM Philadelphia, SiriusXM The Heat, and more.
