(BPRW) Netflix Announces Cast for New Tyler Perry Series “Beauty In Black”
(Black PR Wire) Tyler Perry’s new Netflix series “Beauty in Black” has found its cast. Netflix made the official casting announcement for the upcoming project, revealing that Taylor Polidore Williams, Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, and more have joined the cast of the show.
“Beauty in Black” is part of Perry’s previously announced multi-year first-look deal with Netflix, where he is set to write, direct, and produce features for the streamer. In addition to Perry, Angi Bones and Tony Strickland will serve as producers for the show.
The series, which is written, directed, and produced by Perry, follows two women leading very different lives. Taylor Polidore Williams will play Kimmie, who struggles to make ends meet after her mother kicks her out, while Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, finds success running her own business. Eventually, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives.
