(BPRW) Adair Mosley to Transition from CEO of The African American Leadership Forum to Lead GroundBreak Coalition
(Black PR Wire) MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The African American Leadership Forum (The Forum) announced today that CEO Adair Mosley will transition from his role on September 15, 2025, to become the CEO of the GroundBreak Coalition. GroundBreak is a bold, cross-sector initiative that will continue and expand on the work Mosley helped launch during his tenure at The Forum—particularly through the visionary Northside Forward initiative.
Since stepping into leadership, Mosley has helped reimagine The Forum’s mission and impact. Under his guidance, the organization
- Repositioned itself as a Black-led think-and-do tank, integrating policy, narrative strategy, and design
- Launched Northside Forward, a 10-year, community-driven plan for investment in North Minneapolis
- Developed cutting-edge tools and AI-powered platforms advancing real-time community data and predictive analytics
- Expanded programming across civic leadership, economic justice, and research, while sustaining the organization’s financial health through unprecedented times
“Adair has been a catalytic and courageous leader,” said Kevin Lindsey, Board Chair of The Forum. “His vision has helped make The Forum what it is today. We are deeply grateful for his leadership and confident in the strength of what comes next.”
To ensure continuity, The Forum’s Board of Directors has appointed Dara Beevas, current Chief Narrative Officer, to serve as Interim CEO. Since joining The Forum in January, Beevas has led the organization’s communications, branding, and strategic storytelling. Her leadership will guide The Forum through this transition with clarity and confidence.
The Forum will begin a national search for its next permanent CEO in early 2026.
