Bob The Drag Queen Says He Was Doxxed While Filming HBO’s ‘We’re Here’ In Deep South: ‘A Lot Of Times Where I Felt Unsafe’

At the time of the doxxing, the We’re Here cast and crew was filming in Granbury, TX, a town where LGBTQ-themed books are being targeted.
When it comes to his experience, Bob did not mince his words: “I was like, ‘if this town sank into the earth and it was never heard from again I genuinely wouldn’t care’ because I hated that town so much.”
Despite his frustration, he went on to clarify that “not every single person” was unwelcome toward him and his fellow drag queens, which helped him to stay the course.
“I was like I’m here to do my job and I’m going to get it done because I know there are people here who want this to happen too,” he said. “There are people here who do want us here.”
