August 20, 2022 Black Education Act Advisory Council Meeting
Under the leadership of Chair Arlen Nelson, the Black Education Act Advisory council held a monthly meeting to discuss the BEA team and Council subcommittee updates. The Advisory Council goal setting retreat is being planned. BEA Liaison emphasized the importance of focusing on the statute requirements and scope of work centered on “culturally relevant” not critical race theory.
