‘Dr. Death’ Season 2 Trailer: Edgar Ramirez, Mandy Moore And Ashley Madekwe In New Chapter For Peacock’s True Crime Series
Peacock has released the season 2 trailer for its true crime anthology series, Dr. Death.
Starring Edgar Ramirez and Mandy Moore, the second season of Dr. Death will consist of eight episodes and will document the tale of convicted Swiss-Italian surgeon Paolo Macchiarini.
Here’s the official synopsis:
This season of Dr. Death, based on the hit Wondery podcast, follows “Miracle Man” Paolo Macchiarini, a charming surgeon renowned for his innovative operations. When investigative journalist Benita Alexander approaches him for a story, the line between personal and professional begins to blur, changing her life forever. As she learns how far Paolo will go to protect his secrets, a group of doctors halfway across the world make shocking discoveries of their own that call everything about Paolo into question.
‘Dr. Death’ season 2 cast
Season 2 of Dr. Death also stars Luke Kirby, Ashley Madekwe and Gustaf Hammarsten.
Ashley Michel Hoban is the showrunner and Jennifer Morrison will direct the first four episodes. Based on the acclaimed Wondery podcast, Dr. Death is also executive-produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Taylor Latham, Aaron Hart, Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Linda Gase.
When does ‘Dr. Death’ season 2 come out?
The second season of Dr. Death premieres on Peacock on Dec. 21.
